The defense ministry stated that Britain had scrambled its fighter jets Wednesday when it saw unidentified aircraft in its airspace.

According to a Ministry of Defence spokesperson, “Quick Response Typhoon Fighters from RAF Lossiemouth have been deployed against unidentified aircraft that are approaching the U.K. zone of interest.”

We will not provide any further information on the ongoing operation, until it is complete.
