Check Point Software Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q4 -Breaking

Check Point Software (NASDAQ) reported Thursday that the fourth quarter beat analyst forecasts, and that revenue exceeded expectations.

Check Point Software posted earnings per share in the range of $2.25 to $599.1M on revenues of $599.1M. Investing.com polled analysts to predict EPS of 2.14 on $585.8M in revenue.

Check Point Software shares have increased 6% since the start of the year. However, they are still down 3.71% from their 52-week high of $128.44 on January 20. They outperform the Nasdaq, which has fallen 7.85% since the beginning of the year.

The report by Check Point Software follows an Apple earnings beat on January 27th, where they reported EPS at $2.1 per share on revenue $123.95B. This compares to the forecasts of EPS at $1.9 for revenue $119B.

Microsoft beat all expectations with a second quarter earnings per share of $2.48 on $51.73B in revenue, as compared to the forecast of EPS at $2.32 for $50.71B.
