© Reuters. Japan stocks up at the close of trade, Nikkei225 up 0.7%Investing.com – Japan stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
The added 0.7% was at Tokyo’s close.
These were the best performers of the session Konami Corp. T:, which rose 11.1% or 720.0 point to trade at 6870.0 by the close. Meanwhile, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. T: added 9.65%, or 600.0 points, to bring the total up to 6820.0 Chiyoda Corp. T: was down 7.25%, or 25.0 points, to 370.0 late trade.
These were the worst performers of the session. Nippon Sheet Glass Co. Ltd. (T:) fell by 8.02%, or 41.0 points, to trade at 470.0 after the close. Kao Corp. T: dropped 6.35%, or 364.0 points, to finish at 5366.0 Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. T: dropped 5.34% to 221.8.0, 125.0 points lower than 2218.0.
Stocks that are rising outnumbered those in decline on Tokyo Stock Exchange were 2325-1216, and 227 respectively at the end of their trading day.

The implied volatility index of Nikkei’s 225 options was unchanged at 0% and 21.82.
Crude oil rose 0.47 or 0.52% to $90.74/barrel for March delivery. Brent oil rose 0.33 percent or 0.33 to $91.44 per barrel in commodity trading. The April Gold Futures contract went up 0.24%, or 4.35, to $1808.45 an ounce.
USD/JPY went up 0.3% to 114.99 and EUR/JPY rose by 0.19%, to 131.75.
At 95.265, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.12%.
