Germany prepared to keep funding Ukraine economic stabilisation

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – Germany was ready to continue providing large amounts of financing for Ukraine’s economic stabilisation, Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated Monday at a news briefing in Washington with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden.

Scholz stated that “we provide a very substantial part of the financial assistance for Ukraine,” noting that Germany has provided approximately $2 billion.

“We’re willing to keep making this contribution.”
