Spirit Airlines, Frontier to merge in $2.9 billion deal -Breaking

(Reuters) – U.S. low-cost carriers Spirit Airlines Frontier Group Holdings (NYSE: ) and Spirit announced Monday that they had reached a merger agreement. This deal valued Spirit at $2.9 Billion in fully diluted equity.

According to the statement, $6.6 billion is the transaction value after accounting for net debt assumption and operating lease liabilities.
