Jen Psaki, White House Press Secretary, stated that President Joe Biden is “crystal-clear” regarding expectations for respect in the workplace. Lander, who is also a senior science advisor to Biden and director of Office of Science and Technology Policy, has been a key figure in the office.
Psaki stated that “His behaviour was unacceptable and necessary corrective action must be taken.”
