White House to monitor corrective actions over science adviser Lander -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The White House announced Monday that Eric Lander, the science advisor to Eric Lander was under investigation and will be monitoring any corrective action taken following reports that he degraded and bullied staff members.

Jen Psaki, White House Press Secretary, stated that President Joe Biden is “crystal-clear” regarding expectations for respect in the workplace. Lander, who is also a senior science advisor to Biden and director of Office of Science and Technology Policy, has been a key figure in the office.

Psaki stated that “His behaviour was unacceptable and necessary corrective action must be taken.”
