Italy retail sales rise 0.9% m/m in December -Breaking

(Reuters) – Italian retail sales increased 0.9% in December compared to the previous month, according to data released Tuesday. This follows a 0.4% drop in November.

ISTAT reported that December saw sales rise 9.4% unadjusted over the previous year.

Data are presented in value terms. The consumer price index in Italy (HICP) was used to calculate December’s 4.2% increase.
