WuXi Biologics sees no impact from addition to unverified list for U.S. exports -Breaking

BEIJING (Reuters), – WuXi Biologics, a Chinese company that specializes in biotechnology and other services for partners, stated Tuesday on WeChat: “Two of its subsidiaries” being placed on the U.S. Commerce Department’s unverified list won’t have an impact on WuXi Biologics business.

According to the statement, the company will take interim steps to eliminate these subsidiaries from its list.

On Monday, the U.S. Commerce Department announced that 33 entities from People’s Republic of China had been added to their unverified list of recipients of U.S. Exports. It said that it took the decision because it could not determine the use of the exported items by these entities.
