Equinor posts record Q4, hikes dividend and share buybacks -Breaking

OSLO (Reuters) – Norway’s Equinor has posted record pretax profits for its fourth quarter. The increase in oil and natural gas prices drove Equinor to post records. Equinor also announced that it will be increasing its dividend as well as buying back shares.

The adjusted earnings before taxes rose to $15.0billion in October-December from $756m in the previous year. This is more than the predicted $13.2 billion by Equinor polled 23 analysts.
