WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – U.S. House Democrats want to ban members Congress and top congressional staff from trading stocks. They also plan on amending laws related to stock trading by the end of the year, Punchbowl reported Wednesday. The outlet cited sources who were involved in these discussions.

The House Administration Committee Chairwoman, Representative Zoe Lofgren has begun compiling recommendations. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi along with top House Democratic leaders will have final say over how and when things should be done, the report said.
