Investing.com – U.S. stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The index gained 1.45% while the index climbed 1.86 percent at the closing in NYSE. Meanwhile, the index was up 2.08%.

The top performers on the S&P 500 were Omnicom Group Inc (NYSE:) which rose 14.19% to 90.12, Enphase Energy Inc (NASDAQ:) The stock was 12.03% higher to settle at 161.89 Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc (NYSE:), which saw a gain of 10.16% and closed at 1608.74.

CVS Health Corp. (NYSE) fell 5.45%, to 104.79 in the late trade. Incyte Corporation. (NASDAQ) lost 2.55% to settle on 68.28. CDW Corp. (NASDAQ) dropped 2.46%, to 189.96.

Top performers of the NASDAQ Composite are US Ecology Inc (NASDAQ-:) rose by 67.73%, to 47.25 Tritium Dcfc Ltd (NASDAQ 🙂 rose 64.57% to settle in 15.70, and Gracell Biotechnologies Inc. was up 34.10% to close in 4.09.

These were the worst performers Zosano Pharma Corp (NASDAQ:), which fell 48.56% to 0.2431 during late trade QuinStreet Inc (NASDAQ:), which has lost 26.85%, to settle at 11.39 Society Pass Inc (NASDAQ) was at its lowest point of 23.72%, closing at 3.57

The New York Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 2389 to 8,23. 141 closed unchanged. On the Nasdaq Stock Exchange 2743 rose, 1103 fell, and 178 finished unchanged.

Zosano Pharma Corp’s (NASDAQ) shares fell to their lowest levels ever, falling 48.56% (0.2295 to 0.2431). Tritium Dcfc Ltd’s (NASDAQ:), shares rose to new heights, rising by 64.57% (6.16 to 15.70). QuinStreet Inc’s shares (NASDAQ:), fell 26.85% to their 52-week lowest; they were down 4.18 to 11.39.
