Tesla recalls nearly 579,000 U.S. vehicles over pedestrian warning risk sounds -Breaking

This recall was made because of concerns that pedestrians could be uninformed about approaching vehicles if they are not alerted.
Tesla’s U.S. recalls have been under increased scrutiny from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Manufacturer of electric vehicles is recalling 2020-2022 Model S and Model X models, as well as 2017-2022 Model 3 cars, due to the Boombox function, which allows sound to be heard through external speakers while in motion.
NHTSA reported that these vehicles do not comply with federal motor vehicle safety standards on the minimum sound specifications for electric vehicles.
