Stellantis recalling nearly 20,000 plug-in minivans for fire risks -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – Stellantis Chrysler parent recalls 19,808 plug in hybrid minivans following 12 reports of fires inside parked cars.

The recall is for 2017-2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid models, according to Chrysler. The recall covered all eight of the hybrids, with eight connected to their chargers. Stellantis stated that it was not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the accident.

Stellantis has advised owners to stop charging their cars and park the cars away from other vehicles. Automaker Stellantis is trying to determine the source of the flames.
