Clesson Co., Ltd, which is the operating company for the LABEL Foundation, raised $2 million through strategic equity investments. The equity-oriented financing has been made to Clesson, which is also known as the parent company of the LABEL Foundation, by the leading asset management firms – eBest Investments & Securities and Groom investments to boost the development of the web 3 NFT infrastructure for musicians, fans and content creators.

According to the company, the money will be used by the company to improve the platform and bring in new IP owners, as well as lead the Web 3.0 content industry.

Two major investors support the platform in terms of their investors. First, eBest Investment & Securities Co., a Korea-based Asset Management Firm with 1 billion USD in their AUM, that specializes in providing financial services. This brokerage company is involved in covering futures and stocks.

Groom Investment second, which is an investment fund that makes all-round investments into prospective companies, holds portfolios including The SmartStudy (Pre-IPO stage), CrowdWorks, Bespin Global (accumulated investiment of 209 million KRW) and Caroom.

Through collaboration with industry-related networks, OPENTRACK has managed to keep its good reputation in this space. OPENTRACK is a network that has joined the Label foundation. The partnership allows top teachers from all parts of the globe to contribute early content for the LABEL ecosystem. OPENTRACK is the primary content source platform.

The LABEL Foundation used blockchain technology as a way to revolutionize the MOOCs and music business. It works to create NFT infrastructure that supports content creators, musicians and fans.

The LABEL Foundation will distribute fair profits to artists once the project is completed. Recent announcements by Ankr about strategic partnerships are evidence of the progress.

LABEL Foundation explained,

“Our team is willing to work towards improvements in the music industry, by solving the biggest issues related to unfair profit-sharing due to intermediaries’ lion’s share. Since we have huge expertise in the music and entertainment industry, we are aware of what kind of obstacles talented people face in the traditional music industry.”

On the other hand, the LABEL Foundation’s native token — LBL can be traded on exchanges such as MEXC Global and PancakeSwap to name a few.
