FAA extends environmental review of SpaceX program in Texas -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), announced Monday that it had extended its deadline for completing an environmental assessment of the SpaceX Starship/Super Heavy project in Boca Chica (Texas) to March 28.

Previous target date of the FAA had been February 28, SpaceX is not guaranteed a vehicle operator’s license if the FAA completes its environmental review.

SpaceX, Elon Musk’s space venture, must meet FAA safety and risk requirements.
