Japan brewer Kirin to exit Myanmar operations

TOKYO (Reuters), a Japanese beverage manufacturer Kirin Holdings decided to pull out of the Myanmar market, the paper reported Monday.

Kirin was involved in a dispute over the closure of a joint venture in Myanmar after last year’s coup. However, the executives of companies have stated that they would like to continue in Myanmar.
