INGLEWOOD. Calif. (Reuters). LOS ANGELES — Cooper Kupp, a Los Angeles Rams wide receiver, was honored as the Most Valuable Player at the Super Bowl. Kupp caught two touchdown passes in Sunday’s win against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Kupp saved his team late in the game when they were trailing. He ran 79 yards and converted a fourth down. Kupp also caught four touchdown passes with just 85 seconds remaining.
Kupp’s score was scored in the first quarter when Matthew Stafford (the Rams quarterback) found Kupp in the back right corner. This put them ahead by 13-3.
Kupp was 28 years old and caught 8 out of 10 targets for 92 yard. This performance was further enhanced when Odell Beckham Jr., a Rams receiver, suffered an injury that enabled the Bengals to double-team him in the second half.
