Husband of shot cinematographer names Alec Baldwin in wrongful death suit -Breaking

LOS ANGELES, (Reuters) – The husband of a victim of the Western film “Rust,” has brought a wrongful Death suit against Alec Baldwin and others involved in safety at work on the set. An attorney representing the family stated Tuesday.

Attorney Brian Panish stated that the lawsuit was filed in Santa Fe County in New Mexico on Matthew Hutchins’ behalf.

Halyna Hutchins the cinematographer was killed, and Joel Souza was injured when Baldwin’s gun fired off an actual bullet during a rehearsal.

Authorities in New Mexico are continuing to investigate the Bonanza Creek Ranch (NYSE) Ranch Incident. There have not been any criminal charges.

According to the “30 Rock” actor and the “Saturday Night Live”, actor, he was informed that the gun was safe and that it was cold.
