Canada’s annual inflation rate hits 5.1% in January -Breaking

(Reuters) – Canada’s annual inflation rate accelerated in January to 5.1%, Statistics Canada announced Wednesday. This is the highest increase since September 1991.

Reuters analysts polled expected that the annual rate would remain at 4.8% for January, according to Reuters.
