U.S. refers 80 unruly passengers to FBI for criminal review -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters), The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), announced Wednesday that it has referred 80 passengers (in total) to the FBI for possible criminal prosecution in light of a rise in incidents on board.

Last year, the FAA reported that it had sent 37 passengers to FBI for evaluation. While some unions and airlines demand a ban on some disruptive passengers, some states have pledged that the U.S. Justice Department will be tough with them.
