Major crypto exchange Binance has reportedly halted activities and marketing to Israelis following a request from one of the country’s financial regulators over licensing.

Globes Israel’s news agency reported that the Capital Market and Insurance Authority are being investigated. RequestedBinance can provide details about what services they were providing for Israelis, as well as information regarding any licenses that are under its control. Binance never applied for a license to allow the crypto exchange to operate in Israel, according to the regulator.
