Philippine central bank holds rates steady, as expected -Breaking

REUTERS/Romeo RanocoMANILA, Reuters – While the Philippine central banks kept its key rate at a record low Thursday (April 6), they said manageable inflation would allow them to keep policy support alive while the economy recovers.
According to a Reuters poll, all 21 economists expected the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas to keep the rate for overnight reverse repurchase at 2.0%.
