WASHINGTON — Joe Biden, President of the United States said that Friday’s statement by President Joe Biden indicated that America believes Russian President Vladimir Putin is planning to attack Ukraine in the “coming days.”

“We have reason to believe the Russian forces are planning and intend to attack Ukraine in the coming week, in the coming days,” Biden said in remarks at the White House. We believe they’ll target Ukraine’s capital Kyiv which is home to 2.8 million people.

This astonishing revelation is made as astonishing numbers of Russian troops advance on Ukraine’s eastern and northern flanks.

Russia has increased its military presence in imitation of Russia’s 2014 illegal annexation and occupation of Crimea (a peninsula at the Black Sea), which caused international outrage and led to sanctions.

Despite an exceptional deployment of Russian soldiers to Ukraine’s border, the Biden administration never predicted Putin’s plans. Biden responded that Putin could still choose diplomacy if he wanted to.

Biden delivered his second address of the week and reiterated America’s commitment to NATO allies if the Ukraine crisis with Russia turns into a full-blown war.

Biden declared, invoking Article 5 rules of the alliance: “The United States is ready to defend every inch NATO territory from any threat our collective security,”

The principle of collective defence, also known as the “Principle of Collective Defense”, is a cornerstone of the alliance of 30 members. Article 5The following statement is made: An attack on one NATO member country is an attack upon all allies
