China Jan auto sales see first monthly rise after eight months of falls -Breaking

BEIJING (Reuters – China’s automotive sales increased 0.9% by January compared with a year prior, the first rise in vehicle sales after eight consecutive months in decline, according to industry data released on Friday.

The total car sales on the biggest market worldwide rose to 2.53 million in January according to data from China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

The January sales of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), reached 431,000. This is an annual rise of 135.8% according to the data.
