Lufthansa Group to suspend Kyiv, Odessa flights

Lufthansa Group announced that it will suspend its service to Odessa and Kyiv, beginning Monday concerns grewWhether Russia will invade Ukraine.
The airline said that safety for passengers and crew is their top priority. “Lufthansa is continuing to closely monitor the situation and remains in constant contact with international and national authorities.
Lufthansa also has Eurowings, Swiss, and Austrian aircraft. The Swiss will suspend all service to Kyiv from Monday until at least February 28. A spokesperson for the airline stated that they do not fly to Ukraine from Switzerland.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines suspended Ukraine flightsLast week.
Ukrainian International Airlines stated that it will need to transport five planes to Spain following a dispute about insurance coverage. However, it later confirmed that it is operating the flights as planned.
Another Ukrainian carrier, SkyUp Airlines, said one of its Ukraine-bound flights from the Portuguese Island of Madeira was forced to land in Moldova last weekend after the company that leases its jets said the carrier couldn’t enter Ukrainian airspace.
