OpenSea planned upgrade stalls as phishing attack targets NFT migration -Breaking

OpenSea just announced yesterday a smart contract upgrade. Users will need to migrate NFTs listed in their accounts from (ETHA new smart contract is created by converting the blockchain. As a direct result of the upgrade, users that don’t migrate over from Ethereum risk losing their old, inactive listings — which currently require no gas fees for migration.

OpenSea is a leading marketplace for nonfungible tokens (NFTs) and has apparently fallen prey to a phishing attack just hours after it announced a planned week-long upgrade to remove inactive NFTs from the platform.
