Investing.com – Germany stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

Frankfurt closed with the index dropping 2.07%, which is a 6-month low. The index dropped 1.95% and lost 1.80%.

They were the top performers at the session Siemens Healthineers AG (DE:), rose 0.2% or 0.12 points, to trade at 53.10 by the close. Meanwhile, Siemens Energy AG (DE): The German economy fell 0.277%, or 0.05 point to close at 18.37 Qiagen Late trade saw NV (DE) fall 0.49 percent or 0.210 points, to 42.930

Top performers in the TecDAX included Siemens Healthineers AG, which rose 0.23% at 53.10 and Qiagen NV(DE:), which fell 0.49% to 42.930. Nagarro SE (DE:), which fell 0.79% to close at 125.00

Suse SA (DE) shares fell to their lowest levels in 4.00%, or from 1.00 to 24.00. Evotec AG O.N. Shares fell to all-time lows. (DE): Shares in Evotec AG O.N. fell 52 weeks ago to lows. They lost 3.51% or 910 to 24.990

The DAX Options Implied Volatility Index (the ), was at a new 52 week high of 12.74%, 34.69.

The April delivery of Gold Futures was up 0.7%, or 1.30, to $1901.10 per troy ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which rose 1.99% or 2.21% to reach $92.20/barrel, and the May Brent Oil contract, which rose 2.1% or 2.11 for $93.50/barrel.

EUR/USD was up 0.4% at 1.1325 while EUR/GBP dropped 0.07% from 0.8323.

At 95.963, US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.6%.
