Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

An additional 0.52 percent was added to the final in Tel Aviv.

These were the best performers of the session Shapir Engineering Industry TASE:, which rose by 2.32% (or 74 points) to trade at 3260 at close. Meanwhile, Maytronics (TASE) Added 2.0% or 159 Points to End at 7382 OPKO Health Inc Late trade saw a rise in TASE (or 22 points) to 1048 by 2.14%.

Nice Ltd (TASE) was the worst performer of the session, falling 1.37% (1010 points) to close at 72850. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd. TASE: fell by 1.10% to 537.0. Ormat Technologies (TASE): The decline in TASE was 0.05% (10 points), to 21240

Stocks that are rising outnumbered those in decline on Tel Aviv Stock Exchange were 285 to 211, while 36 ended unaffected.

The shares of Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE 🙂 rose to new highs. They gained 2.32%, or 74-to-3260.

Crude oil rose 1.27%, or 1.15, to $91.36 per barrel for April delivery. Brent oil rose 1.41 percent to $92.80 per barrel in commodity trading. The April Gold Futures contract dropped 0.07% to $1898.50 an ounce.

The USD/ILS exchange rate was 0.45% higher at 3.2155 while the EUR/ILS exchange rate rose 0.65% to 3.6474.

At 95.920, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.11%.
