Bitpanda is a Vienna-based cryptocurrency exchange platform. It has acquired Trustology from the United Kingdom, which is a custodian of crypto and wallet service provider for an undisclosed sum.

Bitpanda plans to rebrand its recently acquired fintech business to Bitpanda Custody, in order to launch native crypto custody services geared towards institutional investors. Bitpanda will take custody of its entire assets, including those belonging to its institutional and retail businesses. By doing this, the firm said it would be the largest crypto custodian.
