Japan Finance Minister says Tokyo will coordinate with G7 in dealing with Ukraine -Breaking

TOKYO (Reuters – Japan will cooperate with the Group of Seven (G7) developed economies to address the Ukraine crisis, but it must also carefully monitor how this could impact its economy, Shunichi Suzuki, Japan’s Finance Minister said on Tuesday.

After a Cabinet meeting, Suzuki told reporters that he will closely monitor any effect of rising interest rates from western countries on Japan’s economic health.

The Yomiuri newspaper on Tuesday reported that Japan would likely be joining the U.S.-led sanctions against Russia.
