ECB should keep steady hand in face of shocks -Breaking

FRANKFURT – In the face external shocks, such as the scarce supply and green transition, the European Central Bank policymaker Mario Centeno stated that the bank should be more steady than to tighten its policies.

Centeno (also Portugal’s central banker) stated in Eurofi that there are “strong reasons” to maintain a steady-hand.

He stated, “Embarking within a generalized restricted loop, when faced with exogenous surprises, will not aid the economy overcome those challenges.”
