TeslaCNBC’s CEO Elon Musk accused Joe Biden Tuesday of neglecting his electric car company and instead paying attention to legacy auto manufacturers in an email exchange.

He also tried to assure White House officials concerned about his potential embarrassment if invited to speak at an event.

Musk declared, “They have nothing else to be concerned about.” Musk stated, “I would do what is right.”

The notion of a feud does not make sense. Biden has repeatedly ignored Tesla, and falsely claimed to the public, that GM controls the electric vehicle industry. In fact, Tesla manufactured over 300,000 electric cars in Q3 and GM only 26,” Musk wrote in an email.

TeslaIn January it announced that more than 300,000 cars were produced in its fourth quarter worldwide. General MotorsReports of U.S. sales for 26 electric cars, which included one Hummer pickup and 25 Bolt models, were made during the fourth-quarter.

For the first time in his presidency, Biden in February acknowledged Tesla’s status as the nation’s largest producer of electric vehicles.

Musk and the White House are at odds ever since the beginning of the Biden Administration. The president pushes infrastructure reform and encourages vehicle companies to become green.

Mary Barra, GM CEO, stated, while standing beside Biden in January that the company wanted to invest. $7 billion into MichiganTo “further our electric vehicle manufacturing.” GM’s headquarters is in Detroit. Musk responded to Biden and Barra’s comments at that time by tweeting: “Starts With a T. Ends With an A. ESL in The Middle.”

It got so ridiculous that no one from the administration could even say the name ‘Tesla. He admitted that Tesla is indeed the leader of the EV market after a public outcry and pressure from media outlets. Musk admitted in the Tuesday email that this was no “praise” at all.

In an email to CNBC, a spokesperson for the White House praised Tesla Tuesday: “Tesla’s done extraordinary things in electric vehicles. That’s a large part of the reason why the industry now believes that EVs will be the future.”

Musk was also attacked by the White House representative. According to the White House representative, Tesla also benefited from past EV tax credit, however, Tesla’s CEO is opposed to any new EV tax credits.

Musk also has mocked Biden at times. Musk once said: Biden was “still sleeping,”Effectively mirroring ex-President Donald Trump’s “Sleepy Joe” remarks.

According to sources familiar with the matter, some in the administration called Musk “a-hole” for his comments about Biden.

Musk made it happen. notBiden asked for your support when he was running to be president in 2020. Instead, he supported Andrew Yang (Democratic candidate and businessman). Recent contributions were made to the Republican National Committee.

Forbes estimates that Musk has more than $220 billion in net worth and SpaceX is his space exploration business.

White House freezes out

This was even after Biden had met with General Motors CEO Mary Barra, and Ford Motor CEO Jim Farley to brief them about the president’s Build back Better initiative. However, that effort has fallen apart in Congress. Musk called Biden “a damp sock puppet in human body” in a tweet.

If asked, by CNBCBrian Deese was Biden’s economic adviser and stated that Musk is not in the country. “In terms of electric vehicles, the United States should be where the revolution is being driven. The United States is creating good jobs by gaining more global export share. It’s not just about one company.

According to more than fifty people who are familiar with this matter, Musk’s critics have been causing problems for the president as well as his team.

According to one person who knows the matter, Biden’s advisors are restraining Musk from attending future events. They fear the public speaking executive could cause embarrassment to the President or the Administration.

Musk replied first with two “roll on floor laughing” emoticons when he was asked this question. He then replied that the White House should not be concerned about Musk doing anything outrageous.

CNBC was told by a source close to Musk that Musk wanted to be brought to the table. discussPresident Obama’s infrastructure package of $1 trillion was created by the Boring Company, a tunnel-digging business founded by the executive.

Many White House officials including Ali Zaid, climate advisor, think that unionized car firms like GM and Ford should only be meeting with Biden or senior Administration officials.

This was not the White House’s intention.

“Ali Zaidi has met every automaker at least once – including Tesla, several many times. According to a spokesperson, President Biden is determined to create good jobs in unions across the country. He believes that all workers must be free to form a union and have the ability to negotiate collectively with their employers.
