Leonardo DiCaprio invests in French champagne brand Telmont -Breaking

PARIS (Reuters). – Leonardo DiCaprio, the actor from Hollywood, has purchased an equity stake at Telmont Champagne House, Remy Cointreau’s majority owner. This is a trend in luxury brands that are looking to expand their reach by forming partnerships with stars, Remy said Wednesday.

DiCaprio stated in a statement that Champagne Telmont was determined to drastically lower its environmental footprint. “From conserving biodiversity on its soil, to using 100% Renewable Electricity, Champagne Telmont is determined, DiCaprio added.

Moet Hennessy of LVMH bought a 50% share in Jay-Z’s Armand de Brignac champagne company.
