BERLIN (Reuters). German sportswear manufacturer Puma stated Wednesday that it expects sales to increase by at least 10% in a currency-adjusted manner in 2022, despite continuing challenges due to COVID-19 limitations, political tensions and constraints to supply chains.

Puma has already released preliminary results for 2021.

It said that inflationary pressures due to increased freight and raw material costs, along with operating restrictions due to COVID-19 would impact profitability in 2022.
