Two top prosecutors in probe of Trump Org resign from Manhattan DA’s office

CNBC was informed Wednesday by a spokesperson for Manhattan District Attorney’s Office that the two top prosecutors in the Manhattan investigation of former President Donald Trump (and his business) have resigned.

CNBC received a statement from Danielle Filson (communications director at the DA’s Office), saying that “we are grateful for your service.” The investigation continues. “We can’t comment on it further.”
The Times reported, citing sources familiar with this matter, that Alvin Bragg has stated doubts regarding his ability to continue building a case against Trump.
CNBC reached out to Pomerantz, Dunne but they did not respond immediately.
