Austria’s RBI says Russian, Ukraine banks well-capitalised -Breaking

REUTERS/Leonhard FoegerVIENNA (Reuters – Austrian Raiffeisen Bank International has stated its Russian and Ukrainian banks are self-financing and well-capitalised. Provisions were made in its risk policy last year.
The bank released a statement Thursday saying that “as part of our forward looking risk policy, we already made provision last year and increased the rouble and established a hryvnia-hedging.”
It expanded into Russia after the collapse of Soviet Union. Now, it is the biggest presence of European banks in Russia.
