Crypto exchange Coinbase trading volumes jump over 67% -Breaking

(Reuters) – U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, (NASDAQ: Global Inc) said Thursday that its sequential trading volumes grew by more than 67% as retail traders were affected by volatility.

The quarter that ended December 31 saw trading volumes of $547 billion, compared to $89 billion the previous year.

The company stated that the sequential rise in Retail Trading Volume was mainly due to higher levels of volatility and strong consumer interest, which it said in a statement.
