(Reuters) – Halyna Hutchins’ husband has stated that he was so angry at Alec Baldwin for his wife’s death, after Baldwin shot Baldwin during filming the Western “Rust”.

Matt Hutchins, who was interviewing Baldwin for the first time since filing a lawsuit against him and more than two dozen others last week was asked by Matt Hutchins if he watched Baldwin’s ABC News interview in December. In which Baldwin said that he wasn’t responsible for Halyna’s death.

Hutchins stated in an interview on Wednesday that he was angry at Hutchins’s public discussion of her death in such detail and for refusing to accept responsibility.

Aaron Dyer (Bald’s lawyer) was unavailable for comment immediately.

Halyna Huschins was murdered in October 2021 by Joel Souza (film director) and a revolver Baldwin Baldwin she was practicing with while filming in New Mexico.

Hutchins has filed a lawsuit against Baldwin last week, and more than two dozen other defendants. The suit claims that Baldwin violated industry norms meant to ensure the safety of movie sets.

Baldwin stated in December that live rounds on the set should not have been permitted.

Baldwin stated, “I believe that someone is accountable for what happened. I cannot say who it is but I am certain that it is not me.”

Hutchins was questioned if Baldwin was the main culprit in his wife’s death.

Hutchins stated that “the idea that the gun’s operator isn’t responsible for causing it to fire is ridiculous to me.”

Dyer responded to the lawsuit last week by saying that Baldwin should have had the ability to count on the film’s armorer, prop section and assistant directors for safety.
