Investing.com — Lantheus Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:) reported its fourth-quarter and full-year results for 2021, resulting in its shares rallying 32.54% on Thursday.

Revenues of the developer and manufacturer diagnostic imaging products topped analysts’ estimates of $111.78 millions.

Analysts had predicted earnings per share of 16 cents, but 25 cents was a better result. After launching PYLARIFY (a PSMA PET imaging agent to treat prostate cancer), full-year earnings beat expectations.

Mary Anne Heino (President and CEO at Lantheus) stated that “Lantheus delivered another solid quarter and full-year, highlighted by revenue performances which increased 38% & 25% respectively.”

She added that “We will keep pushing our goal to find, fight and follow serious medical conditions in 2022 to improve patient outcomes and drive shareholder value and revenue growth.”

The FDA approved the on-site facility for manufacturing, which was a strong start to 2022.

Lantheus expects to generate revenue between $160 and $170 millions in the first quarter.
