Russia does not want to weaponise gas in conflict, says TotalEnergies CEO -Breaking

LONDON, (Reuters) – Russia doesn’t want to use its war against Ukraine as a weapon, said TotalEnergies CEO on Thursday.

Patrick Pouyanne stated that “I’m convinced the Russians do not want to use gasoline as a weapon” at the International Energy Week conference.

TotalEnergies’ operations in Russia (which include stakes at liquefied gas (LNG), plants) have not been adversely affected by the conflict, he said.

Russia provides more than one third of Europe’s gas.
