BERLIN, (Reuters) – Russia should be excluded from SWIFT’s interbank payment system. This is the EU’s second sanction package for Russia. The EU leaders will discuss it at a Brussels meeting on Thursday.

Scholz stated that “it is important that we agree upon those measures that are prepared” and that everything else should be kept for the event where necessary.
