U.S. Chamber rebukes Russia’s invasions, reinforces business community’s support of ‘swift’ response -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s head joined a chorus of protest against Moscow’s attempt to “demilitarize” its neighbor. He called Russia’s incursion into Ukraine a serious breach of international law as well as a violation of his nation’s sovereignty.

The U.S. Chamber CEO Suzanne Clark stated that “the business community will continue supporting the Administration, Congress and our allies in order to ensure a prompt and meaningful response against Russia’s aggression.” She also said that this move was an “affront to our firm belief in a world in which democratic countries can follow the rule of law, the free enterprise system and be free to prosper.”
