U.S. transport safety regulator probes 1.7 million Honda vehicles over unexpected braking complaints -Breaking

San Francisco (Reuters). The U.S. Transport Safety Regulator said Thursday it had launched an investigation into 1732,000 Honda Motor Vehicles for unexpected braking activation.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 278 people have filed complaints alleging that braking incidents occurred “with nothing blocking the vehicle’s travel path”.

NHTSA stated that the probe would affect Honda CR-V and Honda Accord models from 2018-2019.
