PARIS (Reuters) – The secretary-general of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation & Development (OECD) said on Friday the OECD had decided to end Russia’s process of acceding to the OECD, following Russia’s attack on Ukraine.

“First, the Council decided to officially terminate the Russia accession process, which had been delayed in 2014. A statement issued by the OECD stated that the Council had also requested the Secretary-General “to take all necessary measures to close the OECD Moscow bureau and stop any invitations from Russia at ministerial and other levels.”
