Major Japanese e-commerce firm Rakuten has AnnoucedRakuten NFT, its nonfungible token trading platform.

In response to the increasing popularity of NFT tokens around the world, Rakuten initially announced its intention to create a private NFT marketplace by 2021. Rakuten claims that the NFT marketplace hosts an intellectual property platform which allows IP owners to set up their own sites for selling and issuing NFTs.
