Russian advance ‘stopped in most directions’

According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zielenskyy on Friday, the Ukrainian military had stopped Russian invading troops from “most directions”, despite new missile strikes which began at 4 AM local time.

“The enemy was stopped in all directions. In a speech translated by NBC News, Zelenskyy declared that “the fights continue.” Russia wants us to be tired but we don’t feel tired.

Because the situation in Ukraine remains fluid and changing, it is difficult to provide accurate information about the military situation.

Russia claims to have over 190,000 soldiers in Ukraine. However, the exact number of these troops has not been determined.

According to the CIA, Ukraine has between 145,000-150,000. a January report from the U.S. Congressional Research Service.

Many Ukrainian rank-and-file soldiers have combat experience with pro-Russian separatists. Low-level fighting is ongoing in this region since 2014.

Air defenses

Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine’s Air Defenses are “working” and protecting its skies, adding that Russian aircraft were seen flying in Kyiv early Friday morning.

“There was a lot of explosions in the morning,” he stated. He said, “This is the exact same scenario as what happened in Ukraine in 1941.” We are the only ones who can protect our country, and all other countries around the globe look at us.
