U.S. trade relationship with China “getting more difficult”

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – China and the United States trade relationship is becoming more complicated, U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai told reporters on Friday.

Tai stated that she had been in contact with China since October, to hold it accountable for fulfilling its obligations under the Phase 1 trade agreement between the two countries.

Tai spoke out at the U.S. Agriculture Department’s annual Agricultural Outlook Forum.
