Sberbank’s Czech branches to stay closed on Monday

PRAGUE, Reuters – Russian bank Sberbank’s Czech branch will close on Monday, and cards transactions and online banking will be stopped. CTK reported Sunday that the bank had said it experienced an outflow in deposits over recent days.

According to CTK the bank stated that all deposits were covered. For comment, the bank was not immediately available.

Security concerns regarding staff forced it to close branches on Friday
