Airbnb to house up to 100,000 Ukrainian refugees -Breaking

(Reuters) – Airbnb Inc, a home rental company said Monday that its non-profit arm Airbnb.org will offer temporary accommodation for as many as 100,000 Ukrainian refugees.
Chief Executive Brian Officer Brian Chesky and Joe Gebbia, the chairman of Airbnb.org, have sent https://news.airbnb.com/help-ukraine letters to leaders of Poland, Romania, Germany and Hungary offering help to house the refugees. These countries have borders with Ukraine.
According to senior EU officials and French diplomats, more than 300,000 Ukrainian refugees are now in the European Union.
Airbnb.org is a temporary accommodation provider for individuals in times of crisis. They will collaborate closely with the governments to meet their needs.
Airbnb will pay for the accommodation.
