BlockWallet launches its Web 3.0 Wallet with enhanced privacy features

BlockWallet, a privacy-enabled cryptocurrency wallet, announced that its Web 3-oriented wallet solution was launched to improve the privacy of users. New browser-based crypto wallet, BlockWallet, aims to increase privacy solutions for crypto. It will usher in the next generation Web 3 and decentralized apps (DApps), which are both on blockchains.

BlockWallet is a decentralized cryptocurrency wallet that aims to bring privacy to an otherwise open market. According to the statement, the team has built a “privacy-oriented non-custodial browser wallet” that accesses the decentralized web or Web3 applications. Users will have greater financial privacy and security, as well as control over their data. BlockWallet will become a web browser extension available on Google (NASDAQ) Chrome, Brave and Microsoft (NASDAQ) Edge browsers.

“When users interact with Web3, it poses significant risks because now the financial data is also attached to the user,”
Iman Hossini, Blockwallet’s Chief Technology Officer, stated.

“As we build Web3, we should not make the same errors as before but aim to create a truly private Web3 experience. BlockWallet is an important step in this direction.
BlockWallet claims to be the first web-enabled, fully private, and non-custodial extension crypto wallet. Users can store funds securely in this place and then interact privately with favorite blockchain apps. The wallet leverages privacy-enhancing technology to protect users’ financial data.

BlockWallet’s transaction requests are sent through Privacy Proxies by default, concealing the IP address and other metadata, which can be used to identify the user. You can use Privacy Pools, which is powered by Zk-SNARKs technology to deposit or mix funds into a smart contract. It cuts all ties to users.

Protecting your privacy is crucial in an age where privacy violations are all too common. Not everyone can do this. We are happy to finally offer a solution in the blockchain universe that will allow everyone, anywhere, to own their privacy.
– BlockWallet CEO Aleksandras Gaska

In addition to privacy-enhancing functions, the wallet allows for convenient access DeFi apps on multiple Blockchains such as Avax Smart Chain, Fantom and Polygon. Through bot production modules, users are protected against front-running attacks or sandwich attacks. Inbuilt privacy pools allow users to hide their primary wallet address on the Ethereum network.

BlockWallet’s bright future
The BlockWallet beta testing phase was a success with more than 2,000 members participating. Via the beta testing phase, the team collected valuable information that aims to introduce crucial and unique privacy features, solutions, and create an “accessible and easy-to-use interface”.

After the successful launch of the web extension the development team looks forward to adding additional features to the Crypto wallet in the future. Many new features, such as NFT drops and phishing prevention are in development. Additionally, the team plans to protect users’ privacy and provide a Web3 that is secure.

The team plans to introduce private transfers and Ethereum Name Service domains (ENS), trading privacy, ecommerce privacy as well as private gambling, gaming, and other services.

BlockWallet was able to raise 41.8million in its initial round of funding in early 2021. It also saw the token sales being oversubscribed by more than 68x. X21 Digital was joined by Woodstock, Spark Digital Capital and Four Season Ventures as top investors. Polkastarter was the first platform to launch $BLANK, which currently has more than $12M in market capital.
